So, how does it work exactly?
At Print & Press, we have large industrial sized embroidery machines that work around the clock, and they hold hundreds of different coloured spools of thread. Embroidery uses needles to penetrate the item of clothing and permanently stitch a logo or design to the front of the garment, using a stabiliser at the back of garment for support. It's actually extremely cool to watch! We can also use Embroidery to create patches that can iron on, stitch on or velcro onto desired surfaces.

How our Embroidery Process Works
Embroidery is only as good as the designs, machines, and threads used to produce it so we use specialised embroidery software and the BEST brand of threads to ensure we always achieve great results. If you place an order with us, this is what you can expect:
- Design Digitisation: Once we receive a VECTOR format of your design, your design will be ‘digitised’. This means we will convert it (using our specialised embroidery software) into a file that can be read by our Embroidery machines.
- Fabric Preparation: The article is locked into a special hoop to keep it taut and stop it moving around whilst being stitched. This includes layers of stabilising material to ensure the garment is locked into place.
- Thread Selection: We carefully select perfectly matched thread colours for your logo or design.
- Stitching: The machine uses the digital file to stitch a perfect replica of your design onto the garment. We ALWAYS do a test first to ensure the logo is PERFECT.
- Quality Control: We Carefully trim away excess threads and thoroughly inspect the work to make sure its 100% perfect! We then add on the appropriate backing as per your request.
